That, and Akron was short 3 or 4 players including their starting PG. I think I read he actually got kicked off the team or something a couple of weeks ago, and they had a few other guys with the flu or something.
Michigan is a bad match-up for VCU, too They've got arguably the best PG in the country and another very capable ball-handle in Hardaway Jr. That's the reason I picked them to win this game. In just about any other region, I probably would've put VCU in the Sweet 16.
