Cleveland is looking like a much better choice than NY right now.

Bringing Knicks their first championship in 100 years and be the king of New York, the biggest market in the world? You kidding? Or Brooklyn with Prokhorov deep pockets?

I agree. It would be a short term vast improvement but no a good look long term.
That's why I say we trade Bosh for a big.

1. How will Lebron and Melo work?
2. You're saying Lebron would play with Pierce and Garnett?
Now it was apparent later in the playoffs that Miami with Lebron, one big and shooters on the floor were more effective than when Wade and Lebron played together. Wade's injury hurt his effectiveness, which killed their spacing.
A healthy Wade is a different story. Asik would actually be better than a hurt Wade.

You're delusional if you really believe he would sign with the Knicks when they have one of the worst owners and front offices in the league.

Not saying they would work and they probably don't even team up, but that would be an impressive duo to watch on offense. So many mismatches and range, it would be just unfair.

Knicks would trade Melo for good pieces to build around Lebron.

Lebron has exactly zero championships playing in your logic of "give lebron the ball and everyone else camp in the three point line".

Has anyone ever won a championship with that logic?

This is where you need to differentiate between LeBron fans and Miami Heat fans.

Your right, and thats what it comes down to. Keeping LeBron long term should be the long term priority. But if the Heat did what I said they would be a MUCH improved team for this upcoming year at least.
LeBron came to Miami to play with his buddies. Because of this Bosh and Wade are untouchables. The only way you see one of them get traded is if Miami is hovering around the .500 mark 30-40 games into the season(not going to happen). LeBron is a loyal guy to those he holds close to him despite what people say. All of his high school buddies still play big parts in his life and now on the Heat you got to keep that family atmosphere hes got with them. Play for your teammates. He'd rather play for and win with his buddies than play on a team that is better. He never had that in Cleveland.
about Mike Miller...
Mike Miller was huge for the Heat and they dont win rings in 2012 OR 2013 if not for his play. Hes one of the best shooters in the league and another hot hand if Allen/Battier/Chalmers are cold. The former two are VERY streaky and prone to being cold. This could put the team in a tight spot. Losing Miller is a ****ing blow. Wades knees are only going to get worse and since their going to prevent him from putting heavy work on his jumpshot your only going to see him decline more and more.
