I am NOT impressed by this Spurs win streak
Only 3 of their 17 straight wins have come against real competition.
Outside of Miami, an Aldridge-less Blazers, and Golden State, the Spurs have basically done what they've done all year- fattened up on cupcakes.
It's amazing how the Spurs 0-6 record against the Thunder/Rockets is swept under the rug.
Yet we always give the Spurs the benefit of the doubt FOR A TEAM THAT HASN'T WON A TITLE IN SEVEN FREAKING YEARS!

Re: I am NOT impressed by this Spurs win streak
2 Final appearances and 2 Conf Finals in the last 7 years are not that bad considering how stacked the west is.
I don't see anybody here making a big deal out of this winning streak.

Game. Set. Match.
Re: I am NOT impressed by this Spurs win streak
The real impressive part of this win streak is that they aren't even trying. Pop continues to rest key players and limit minutes... but they just keep winning. Even fukcing Tiago Splitter is getting nights off.

Well yeah their depth is underrated.

Great coaching. Of course if Miami does the same thing it's headline news

When's the last time Indy, Okc, Lac or Houston has won a title?
See it's easy to classify a team that hasn't had a down year in 17 seaons as having playoff failures, because you don't hold other teams to the same standard.
See if we hold every team to your standard, we shouldn't give anyone the benefit of the doubt , outside of Miami, Boston, Dallas and La. The teams that have won titles in the past 6 years. Now how does that sound?

But they don't want to hear that though. How does one of the most successful teams in the playoffs this past couple decades get shat on so much I don't know? They certainly have had more success than clippers, warriors, rockets, and thunder (all who are considered contenders) even in the most recent years.

6th pick...
Re: I am NOT impressed by this Spurs win streak
Only on ISH is winning 17 games straight in the NBA "not-impressive."
We get it, they haven't played the most astounding teams over this stretch, but 17 for 17 against other pros is pretty awesome. That's the longest in the league so far this season and they're winning by like 13-14 points per game.

^^This.
Also no one is even hyping this up. No one ever seems to care about or be impressed by the Spurs.
And in regards to not winning in 7 years... I'd rather at least be in serious contention for 7 straight years than nowhere to be found.

Hahahahaha way to cherry-pick 2 of the 3 teams in the league the Spurs have a losing record against! In other words, the Spurs aren't good because they literally don't have a winning record against every single team in the league.

Knicks all da way
Re: I am NOT impressed by this Spurs win streak
Shades of 2 years ago if you ask me. I'm sure this team's a much better defensive team than that one though.
