Light The Beam!
Kings with a blowout win vs the Clippers.
LAC was without Leonard and George, but they have been most of the season and were still 13-10 going in.
Kings arent just a sample size fluke at this point. This is a playoff team.
I honestly would NOT have a problem if they traded for Lebron.

1/2 game out of the play in and 1 1/2 games out of the lottery. Way to early to call one of the worst organizations in the league a playoff team

That doesnt tell the story tho.
King’s have the third best point differential in the West despite playing the third hardest schedule. Their losses also came mostly at the start of the season, not reflecting the current state of their chemistry.
Mike Brown’s got em clicking. Theyre not really built for a deep playoff run just yet but theyll finish ahead of some of the teams that are. Theyre gonna win games.
If they dont light the playoff beam Ill eat my hat. (Assuming no major injuries)

I don't think there's any story behind it...they just had the idea to shoot up a beam to celebrate Kings wins.
Here's a funny thing though - just a couple weeks ago they filed to trademark BEAMTEAM. I guess they had to hurry up and trademark it before Lebron tried to do it.

Re: Light The Beam!
The Kings already have a nickname, the Kangz.
No nickname involving that beam is needed. Unless the beam did actually have some sort of greater significance

Kings lighting the beam vs a red hot Cleveland team tonight
Both teams missing a star guard (Fox and Mitchell respectively), all in all an impressive road win for the boys in purple!
