First of all, he played in a shortlived CO-ED league from '75-'79 in California (yes, he was playing against women). And he got into the made up HOF of the league (not the real volleyball HOF) for promoting the sport, not for being great at it.

    Wilt myths are really silly..

Little known fact: soccer wasn't well known in America until Wilt kicked a ball out of his yard back to his neighbor's kid. The kid died from the impact of the ball, but Wilt is now in FIFA's hall of fame for helping with soccer's popularity.

Now, how about the REAL "Wilt Tall Tales" that we have read here on this forum many times, and usually by the same moronic posters:

"Wilt played in a weak era and against short white guys."

"Wilt shooting 1-11 from the line in game seven of the '70 Finals cost him 3-4 rings."

"Kareem outplayed Wilt in the '72 WCF's."

(Yeah right...EVERYONE who actually WATCHED that series, including the MILWAUKEE press and coach claimed that Wilt outplayed Kareem. BTW, TIME MAGAZINE hailed Wilt's performance as DECISIVELY OUTPLAYING Kareem in that SERIES.)

"Bird was more clutch than Wilt."

"Hakeem is a better player than Chamberlain."

They are extremely exaggerated by DEUCE dipshit. Most of what really happened is deliberately being burried under a veil of idiocy by deuces trolling. For example:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fyz-FhP2ONk&t=3m16s

For example: The "Wilt Story" about free throw dunking is neither a story by Wilt, nor a myth at all, duece just doesn't tell the f_cking story straight. Tex Winter is the man who saw Wilt do it at the Hauck Auditorium at KU while scouting him out. He's also the source of the info going public in the 1950's, not Wilt. Is it some f_cking coincidence that the Rules and Regulations committee (which Tex was Chairmen of) did in fact propose some sort of rule that specifically addresses this feat? - And then a day later the rule WAS agreed on and implemented? No. Sorry. They don't make useless stupid rules in the NCAA based on stopping events that have never even happened before. Is it coincidence that the other rule Tex Winter's talks about is also mentioned in these list of rule changes too?

Somebody, somewhere dunked a free throw and the NCAA didn't want it to happen in a game. Hmmm call it blind intuition but something tells me Chamberlain was the reason?....

Late in life Wilt is asked about free throw dunks in an interview and he said he used to do it just goofing off in the gym and what not, he said he wouldn't have even tried them in serious games. That's the only time I've ever even heard Wilt talk about free throw dunks he didn't even boast about it.

The only idiots here are the ones that think these ridiculous versions of Wilt stories aren't being deliberately embellished by DEUCE

I heard from a person whose friends cousins father saw wilt out run a cheetah while carrying 500 lbs of weight in each hand. Then he went back to the hotel and had sex with 6 women afterward to maintain his daily average to reach 20k women
