Never been to NYC, was going to do that this year but looks like it'll have to wait... I have heard that NYC has the best pizza because... of the water. Native New Yorker born and raised told me that the water quality there is absolutely amazing and some of its properties derived from nearby mountains are why the pizza is so good.

it's probably because all the italians flocked to Brooklyn when they came over here 100 years ago, and they brought with them their expertise in making beautiful pizzas.

No doubt... and we can all agree that those Italian immigrants should stick to things they know - like making food...rather than pretending to be some kind of covid expert like the "Hitler of AIDS" (look it up) aka Anthony Fauci
In all seriousness, what kind of idiot nation puts an Italian in charge of public health? What idiot nation puts an Italian in charge of anything other than pizza and/or red sauce? We should make Fauci and Cuomo can have a competition to see who is more retarded... I'd bet that both of them lose (and thus the entire nation loses too).

Re: How many kids are going to... (virtual schooling)
It's almost a certainty that "covid induced school cancellations" will be lifted after the election, for a couple reasons.
For one, covid is predominantly an election scheme by the 1% which a lot of the common boobs are predictably falling for.
But also, moving to a virtual classroom would be particularly damaging to Democrats. It reduces the demand for teachers (teachers unions are a major DNC voter block) and also it will eventually be called "racist," because it's a disproportionate burden to both the parents and the children of low income and/or dysfunctional families, which most politicians associate with minorities. This is actually a legitimate concern in a broad sense, regardless of race. Altho the politicians won't be motivated by it for 'legitimate concern' reasons. They'll be motivated to not be called racist.

How can you do physical education through online school? By playing online games with your fellow students via your smartphones, ofc.

yarp. theres places in LA that get shipments of NY tap water in order to make their bagels. It's like a specific PH balance to it, they claim.

if the government schools aren't going to be open, then send the money to families and allow them to choose.
we spend $15k per child/yr, so just give it to family directly
Gavin Newsom are in the hands of the Teacher Unions tho so he's even made private schools illegal. insane

It's crazy how quick the average person is to give up their whole community's freedom to a politician and the special interests behind him, just because they see that trusty (D) by his name.

I would bet the farm that CA will allow private schools to open within a week or two... and if they dont, the wealthy parents are going to get together and start paying private school teachers to teach small groups of kids.
Meanwhile, the public school kids will miss 1/2 (or more) of their school year, and fall months and months and months behind their wealthy peers (that were already lapping them pre-covid)...
