Default the most insane vehicle i've driven

can't really say i've driven a tesla or a rari', but in the truck realm, this is absolutely by far the most insane thing you can buy that is mass produced by a mfer. 700hp. the acceleration is stupid quick. it's really easy to lose control and actually quite dangerous. i spun tires on the freeway while accelerating and made the rear end fishtail on an 80mph roll. just insane power. haven't taken it offroading yet but i'm actually kind of concerned aboutt that, it's a lot to control on the road...can't imagine off it with poor traction and bumps introduced into the mix.

Not a fan of that new look. The first one (svt raptor) looks a lot better but that's just my opinion.

i actually don't like the 1st gen too much, at least not the face, the rest looks great. this trumps gen1 and gen2 tho, better suspension and the engine power is not even close. it's instant and itt launches you back to your seat every time you tap the pedal semi firmly. i've driven it 1200 miles this weekend and i STILL get giddy about a hard acceleration haha.

the gen2 is still here tho, she'll be my daily for as long as i can stomach the insurance premiums on 2 raptors

Well, to each their own i guess. We all know the potential of the new one but I just really love the rally/baja look of the first one and the huge v8 will always be a classic. But things are different now and there will come a time that ford will probably put a hybrid on these raptors. The 10-speed transmission is sweet tho and has paddle shifters.

This has a supercharged V8, it will be the last generation that Ford can put a V8 in it thanks to the silly EPA rules.

Can anyone explain the appeal of a pickup if you don't actually need one for work purposes?

Hauling around that big ass empty bed seems so...pointless.

I don't know old man, it looks pretty obvious to me it's a Ford by the giant FORD logo on the front of it.

This fakkit posts 1000 replies on a thread in a forum hardly anyone ever visits but himself and he's talking to other people about "pointless"?
