Default I rate NBA players based on their olympic performance

I've always said that playing good in FIBA, the most difficult basketball competition, is a good indicator of who is going to have a breakout NBA season. We saw it with Ant last time. We've seen it before. That said, here are the good and bad. Those in the Good can expect to have a great NBA season coming up. Those in the bad can expect a bad NBA season.

    Good

    Lebron James
    Devin Booker
    AD
    Drew Holiday
    Franz Wagner
    Nikola Jokic
    Josh Giddey
    Giannis Antetekoumpo

    Bad

    Wemby
    Bogdan Bogdanovich
    Rudy Gobert
    Jeffrey Tatum
    Ant Edwards
    Steph Curry

He's amazing for his age but no one gets better at 40 and it would take a prime Lebron season for LA to win a championship. They still aren't going to the second round....Wembanyama is going to be a top 10 scorer and the DPoY...don't know who Jeffrey Tatum is but the Celtics are going to repeat.

Lebron and Booker both show that in their current state, they'd both me more effective in lesser roles.

Lebron would flourish starting, but actually playing as a 6th man, on a stacked team. He'd have to take huge pay cut which he didn't so his loss. Minnesota, Warriors, Boston, etc. Should have gone the Bill Walton way.

Booker shows he really is most suited as a Klay Thompson player. He's not that guy, but surrounded by good point guards and strong interior defense, he can thrive as an offensive force.
