TBH I wouldnt be surprised at all if Elon secretly had "respect" (whatever that means) for fossil fuels and the combustion engine... but if he does hold these views they are very much secret. I dont think the fact that he uses gas powered planes can be taken as evidence for his "respect" of fossil fuels... its not exactly like there are any currently any other options for quickly traveling over a long distance. I use comcast as an internet service provider because they are the only option available to me, that doesnt mean I "respect" them... comcast can go **** themselves imo.

Ultimately, Elon is a businessman who has a huge financial interest in disrupting the fossil fuel industry... its no surprise that his statements on the topic would reflect that.

I have no problem with splitting the country although the normal people would have to build a wall rather quickly to keep the batshit crazy leftist in their half. Given most of the workforce would be in the right leaning section the other side would implode rather quickly making a wall a VERY high priority.

The Democrats have for years relied on white urban liberals and urban minorities and completely overlooked rural America. Fact is there are a lot of rural folk who lean right simply because the right have been the only ones who pay any attention to them. Had she taken the time to listen to them and address their concerns she would have seen that a lot of these people are amenable to many democratic policies. There are a lot more minorities living in rural areas than ever before too. If Hillary had jus...no actually she still would've lost because she's a biitch, but Biden might make headway.
