If the role players can shoot better than 15% from 3... it's a wrap. But you know the league wants long series so to sweep quick would take some red hot shooting from PJ, Green, and DJJ.
Basketball has many skills. Rudy is elite at quite a few of them

minny will probably try putting Conley on Kyrie tomorrow. 'Ree still gonna drop 30pts so does it matter who's guarding him? I think not, especially if it results in Edwards not being gassed by the 4th Q.

Kyrie was pretty shut down by the Thunder, putting Conley on him could be a bad idea.

Conley isn't the defender he once was, but Kyrie still dropped 30 and put ANT out of service for a good amount of time. Ant is too valuable on offense to be taking on the laborious task of defending one of the best finishers ever. Kyrie took him out of the game.

I could believe Edwards was tired at the end of the game but that doesn't explain the fact the fact he had a poor shooting night overall, not just being tired in the fourth. If it's such a big deal he should do what most stars would do, which is not guarding an elite scorer all game long. Save it for the fourth.

that probably would have won the game for minny tbh. he was a non-factor. even if he was shooting poorly, if he was more present last night, minny has a shot at winning the game.

Height and wingspan aren’t skills, per se.

Plus, crack never hit y2k Atlanta anywhere near as hard as it did late 80’s Long Beach/Compton. CIA had the real Freeway Ricky Ross on tilt with cheap, plentiful A-1 Yola.

clearly this isnt the nightmare matchup for Dallas I expected at first glance. Now it’s time to see what the adjustments are in game 2.
I think everyone, including likely Dallas, expected Toody to fare far better against Dallas lob & cut game. N!ggas was flying in from all angles, showing no respect to Toody.
I was expecting game 1 traps/blitzes, but they played drop, and Kyrie and Luka murked that sh!t, enough to overcome what was a 15% 3fg night thru 3 quarters, before Luka and PJ hit some 3’s in the 4th.
I expect Minny to try some blitzes/traps, but it also might result in some even more embarrassing highlights for Toody, especially if Luka fires him passes OVER him to rollers/cutters, or if Kyrie USES Toody as a screen against his own teammate, which he has done before to many slow footed big victims.
