Default Suns bringing in Bronny for a workout.

May take him with their 1st round pick.

It would be the most Suns thing to do, to draft him only for Bron to stay in LA. James Jones is LeBron's homie so maybe they make it happen.

That's a long shot. It's far more likely that they might sign him if he isn't drafted. He could be a decent defender and the reports from the combine say his jumper looked good.
Did well in the athletic testing.

never understimate the4 stupidity of james jones. still rmbr when he drafted an undersized pf that was slated by other scouts to go late 1st or early 2nd round at 11 in the 1st round...over Haliburton

We passed on haliburton too. Fortunately the guy we drafted broke out this past season so we aren't as pissed now.

This draft is weak at the top but deep. There are quite a few quality pgs that will be available at 21. Bigs too.

Drafting Bronny in the first round would be a fireable offense.

0% chance he goes undrafted IMO.

Picks in the second round are basically meaningless. Some team will take a flyer on Bronny if for no other reason than even a minor promotional/publicity spike, and in the hopes of building a relationship with the James brand.

They have absolutely nothing to lose, and at the very least a tiny increase in fanfare to gain. Some organization will take him.

They must think something like signing him drives James to want to come and then LA agrees to a sign and trade based on Brad Beal and 8 future first round picks (Beal waives no trade for the trade kicker clause and the right to live in LA plus chance to be The Man again).

How delightfully stupid. I hope they do it.

If Phoenix spends a first on Junior it won't hurt Durant legacy it will just make sure that he doesn't win a ring in Phoenix. GM will look stupid but that's not Durant legacy.

Jones isn't a good GM but he's not just flat out stupid. He has to realize that Jr. has not had an NBA worthy college career. He's 6'1 and no one with his stat line gets drafted, especially as a teenager. What are the odds the team owner that swears they're the envy of the league is ordering him to do this?

Or they will draft him and force the Lakers to trade assets for him. It would be free money for Suns
