Saw this loss coming a mile away. Still remember when the Celtics played the Lakers last season without LeBron and AD, and we got spanked.

Seems like they are just sleepwalking at the moment.

In some ways I feel their chemistry is worse with Porzingis, because hes their most efficient scorer and the other two stars know it and I think feel threatened by it on some level. They sort of go to him to the minimum extent they feel obligated, but it's clear theyre not in love with the idea of continually setting him up for baskets to take all the shine.

I dont sense the Celtics thrive on personal chemistry to begin with, Tatum and Brown I think are basically just coworkers, but they seem to both feel more comfortable with the my-turn/your-turn formula theyve established over the years, and to me it seems very clear they feel at odds with the idea of the offense going thru their biggest matchup advantage, which is neither of them. KP easily could be their best offensive player, and if hed been there as long as the other two guys he undoubtedly would be. But theres an awkwardness becsuse theyre Celtic lifers and he just got there.

And Im not saying this in the fashion of a 90sGOAT agenda take. It's what Im honestly seeing and I think it's a thing.

I honestly just feel like they are just not putting in full effort, stuff like this happens when you win a title the year before. They had a 43-14 record with Porzingus in the lineup last year. I can see the offense having some chemistry issues with Porzingus back in the lineup, but his impact on defense should make up for it.
