    Drink responsibly.

The people who want to use plus minus are the same doofuses that haven't the slightest how the numbers work, what they mean, or even what changes to a team may impact them. Aka a grown folk stat being played with at the kid table. Careful nineir...LAL you might poke your eye out with that thing.

Bron's gonna opt out and sign for the vet min. Luka's on a cheap deal and isn't elligible for a supermax. Bron got a chance at a free ring if he LeGM's properly.

As long as he has the drive to play and be competitive and he's not hurting the game or team he should continue to play if he wants too. He's still a Top 10 or Top 15 player in the league.

I honestly don't even remember him being injured in last years playoffs. If he was, averaging 28/8/9 on 64%TS as an injured 39 year old is a GOAT tier accomplishment.

Just being honest, I don't think you've thought this argument through, it seems to be emotionally based off him leaving a game early.
Read the damn OP dude. I saw 2021, 2023, and now this year - 2025. He was healthy in 2024.

Also him being 40 is exactly my ****ing point too. I'm sick of the "he's good for his age" talk. None of that matters if he keeps getting hurt before the playoffs, it's clear he can't make it through the full season at an all-nba level and stay healthy.

Sooo, he needs retire soon. Honestly if Lebron tells the Lakers that next year is his last, then the FO will do everything they can to bring in talent AND Luka and company will be highly motivated to win.

Lebron can play 2-3 more years if he moves to PF. He is pretty good now at that. Decent fadeaway, some good baseline drives, catch and shoot 3s, very good at kickouts. This is essentially how he would have played in the 90s, with some Barkley or Pippen like ball handling on the break.

Every other season he missed a lot of games and was never remotely healthy going into the playoffs.

This was never a game for old dudes logging heavy minutes.
Wow thank you, one poster with a grip on reality.

He can't catch MJ unless he has a superstar level playoff run AND wins a FMVP along with a ring.

The odds of this happening are probably 1% at this point.

He's already pass Kobe so getting a 5th ring doesn't matter there.

He's already passed MJ who needed to quit the league and rest up in order to make more title runs.

Like I said, Lebron needs to retire at the end of next season. Make it his last one.

Not because he's washed, he's not at all. But he simply isn't going to win another ring nor does he have anything left to accomplish. He already broke the scoring record, has been had the all-nba records, and this year he actually played with his son.

Ever since the bubble ring, Lebron has 1st round exit in 2021, missed playoffs in 2022, 1st round exist in 2024, and now ANOTHER 1st round exit this year. It's just unbecoming at this point for the GOAT post-MJ.

Best move is Lebron announcing to the Lakers that he next year is his last. This way, the Lakers will be motivated to actually find a single playable playoff big-man some time next year. Also they will get an offseason for Luka to get healthy and the team/JJ can actually build a good off//def scheme and also build team chemistry.

We do NOT want to see Lebron ever be washed like Wizard MJ was.
