Is it hard to watch Lebron now?
People talk about his stats. And his chasedown blocks. These are only things that look good on the surface. His stats are empty because he gives up more points overall than he scores. He has a horrible plus/minus. His stats are not meaningful. They always played worse with him on the court. To those that say he still is the best player, they are only looking on the surface. He's actually the worst player on the court.
And his chasedown blocks still look impressive. But for every amazing play, he probably gives up 8 or 9 easy baskets. So while he can look like an amazing defender, if you watcher closely, he's the worst defender on the court the other 80 to 90 percent of the time. Is that meaningful? To play just to look good 10 percent of the time?
I hate to say it but he looks old and slow. 10 percent of the time he's still a freak but 90 percent of the time he's a snail. Every time he dunks you think there's gonna be an Earth quake on the floor because he looks so heavy. Hard to watch him because the eye test tells you he doesn't belong out there. He's not playing meaningful basketball.
Lebron and Doncic both look out of shape. It's become embarrassing. You all know I don't like Lebron, but even I couldn't watch him and not feel for him. He can't play anymore. This looked like elderly abuse for both Lebron and Doncic. And Doncic is only 26.

We all know you are a troll account but at least say things that are factually true.
"He has a horrible plus/minus."
Objectively false.

Objectively true this season though.

-0.8 regular season plus minus
In 2022 he was -2.1
Is he better in 2025 than 2022?
lol
The playoffs sample size is irrelevant when the Lakers got their shit pushed in.
If so he should keep going! RIGHT!?
Anyways I'm sure it gets hard for the OP when he watches LeBron. That's always been true.

I'm not sure what you're trying to say here.
He had a positive Net Rating in 2022. The team was much worse and Lebron had more in the tank.
This year the Lakers were worse with Lebron on the court and by a significant margin, and not just on D but on offense as well. The trio of Lebron-Luka-Reaves isn't going to be good enough defensively, one of them has to be replaced by a 3&D wing. Lebron can still make plays on D but he's nowhere near consistent from start to finish, the effort just isn't there.

No, I still enjoy watching Lebron choke.
But what's funny are the delusional idiots who STILL try say he's not a net negative.

Re: Is it hard to watch Lebron now?
I dont.
gave up NBA 10 yrs ago. has much to do with rules changes and running up and down 3 points era.
then LeTeamhopping happened. that was it for me.

Re: Is it hard to watch Lebron now?
Isn't +/- flawed? It tracks the point differential betweem the 2 teams when said player is on the court. It can track impact, but if your team stinks your points suffer and if your team is great you might get more credit than you deserve. Lebron is older so during the season he's doing the least he can while still winning. It's more important to be ready for the playoffs than to put up monster stats.

It’s true and you know it. The thing is I’m not a troll and aside from the plus minus LeBron doesn’t look good. It looks like elderly abuse 90 pct of the time while he gives shades of the past 10 percent of the time

Re: Is it hard to watch Lebron now?
He's always been hard to watch aside from the passing

Re: Is it hard to watch Lebron now?
Not to me, because I've never been a fan and Lebron is 40 and hasn't been really relevant in 5 years.
Of course, if people think he should get 40 million at age 40 that is a problem for the Lakers.
