the lakers didnt choke they just ran into one of the two teams they'd rather avoid. randle, naz reid, and gobert were too big for them even though they tried.

No champion in history had a flawless roster.

The 90's Bulls were massively outmatched at the center spot (in the big man era) and relied on unathletic guards like Paxson and Kerr to play major minutes.. The Bulls also didn't have a 3rd or 4th scoring option like every other contender had.

None of this mattered because of MJ's dominance and goat clutch ability... Similar, the Nuggets had a massively flawed roster in 2023 but won because of Jokic's dominance... etc, etc, etc
