How many of you retards believe OKC is a better basketball team than the Nuggets?

Jokesexuals will do anything to discredit his teammates. At 1st i thought they were trolling but no im starting to believe they actually believe his teammates are bad. They actually believe Jamal Murray is Derek Fisher and not legitimately one of the greatest 2nd options of all time. They actually believe aaron Gordon hasn't turned into the best 3 and D pf in the league. He's just PJ tucker in their minds. They actually believe Jokic brings the ball up the court and its jamal murray settings the screens for him to run the offense and not the other way around.

They rationalize Jamal murray outplaying every single 2nd option he has ever played against as "well its joker". Somehow they have even done the mental gymnastics of every time jamal murray being out and jokic gets 1st rounded as "he was too young". Monte Morris who actually is derek fisher. Should of been no drop off, if murray truly doesn't matter.



If you ask them they will honestly say that Jalen Williams is out playing Jamal Murray this series. These are very sick individuals. They have a sickness where they have to fluff Jokic and tear down every other teammate / boost up the competition by any means.

Murray is great, but he is nowhere near one of the best second options of all time. Gordon has improved his shooting tremendously this year, and I agree that he’s one of the best 3 and D forwards in the league. Braun has improved a lot and would be great if he were still a sixth man. He’s an excellent defender, and great when they are running, but a liability in a half court set. MPJ is probably the worst max contract in the league.

As for the Bench, Russ is Russ — great or brain dead and with a terrible jump shot. Watson is an excellent defender, his 3 point shot is now OK, and he is terrible otherwise and fouls too much. Strawther is still totally raw but, as we saw last night, has flashes of excellence.

That said, they would all be much worse without Jokic. That’s basically proven by a couple of things — 1) they go from being the best offense in the league with him on the court, to being close to the worse without him; and 2) the players who have come to Denver (Gordon and Russ)perform much better than expected, while players who leave the Nuggets (Brown, Green and KCP) perform worse than expected. Joker actually makes his teammates better, on the same level as Bird, Magic, Stockton, and very few others.

Pretty sure most players who leave via free agency may not perform as well as they did prior to leaving. As a Sixers fan I can run off names for you if you want.

Absolutely ridiculous take Esp if we're talking this year. Gordon's arguably been Denver's 2nd best player this postseason, is averaging numbers Tucker could only dream of, and has hit numerous clutch shots. No way does Tucker's advantage on defense supersede all of that.

Gordon does more but makes more mistakes on both ends. Tucker was pretty much a flawless 3 and D demon with an unlimited gas tank and shot the ball like Korver in the playoffs. Road, home didn't matter. Hit the offensive and defensive glass very hard. Extremely good at boxing out any size player.

Great hands on defense. Tucker was dominant at times. Gordon is flashier because of more skill, but like I said, he does dumb shit. Even at the rim he can take bad shots. His defense is tiers lower. For as physical as Tuck was his fouls per game were crazy low too. Probably the most disciplined role guy I've ever watched. Absolutely never, ever playing outside his role and gave 110% every second of every game.

This isn't remotely true, there are several examples of a series going 7 games and one team being clearly better than the other; '08 Celtics/Hawks, '09 Lakers/Rockets, 2014 Spurs/Mavs etc.

While there's instances where it's untrue, you can bet it's true in this case. They've both been top 3 in the western conference for a couple years now. Denver beats them, but OKC is higher seeded. You say it's not remotely true but if these 2 teams were considered equals, then it would be "remotely" true.

They led for like 90% of the series up until these last two games and they managed to outplay Denver in a tight 4th quarter in Game 5. One team can go 10 deep if needed while the other can barely scrape 6 guys together. Denver is better as far as their best 4 players go but OKC is objectively a more talented basketball team, hence the historic RS despite two of their starters missing a lot of time during the season.
