Mexico has a major problem with the cartels because American addicts like you can't live without your fix and are keeping them in business. I dont think the cartels are going to give up their livelihood that easily primo. They have many different illegal trades outside fentanyl trafficking. They literally indulge in every type of major crime possible.

the drug trade is their livelyhood. the peripheral crimes would be lesser without the drugs because drugs=finance everything else including buying off government officials to continue their dominance and power. the arsenals that the mexican military finds when raiding cartel safehouses are ridiculous, and they do this often. it's a rinse and repeat game for the cartel bc they may spend millions to get automatic weapons smuggled in and then have to pay a couple more million again in a few months when they are confiscated. without the drug money, they don't have the luxury to keep buying military grade weapons (50 cal machine guns, rpg's, custom made heavy armored vehicles,etc).

Wrong. The majority of working illegal immigrants are using fake social security #'s and paying income taxes while they get no refund. In essence, it's a big cash grab for the IRS because they contribute more than the justin/stalker's of the world that sit back without working and just collect social welfare. The video's of ICE arresting working immigrants seem to outnumber the videos of arrest warrants for felons.

The narrative is clear here, trump has instructed ICE/feds to be aggressive and antagonize minority communities so they can either leave voluntarily or escalated into violence (LA) and give the feds reason to go all out with military.
