Wrong. The majority of working illegal immigrants are using fake social security #'s and paying income taxes while they get no refund. The video's of ICE arresting working immigrants seem to outnumber the videos of arrest warrants for felons.

The narrative is clear here, trump has instructed ICE/feds to be aggressive and antagonize minority communities so they can either leave voluntarily or escalated into violence (LA) and give the feds reason to go all out with military.

The riots aren't justified, but I think a lot of the anger is how the situation is being handled. The reality is there is a big voter block that doesn't want this country to be black and brown, let alone having more immigrants in the US. Illegal immigrants are a smokescreen for the real issue. Legal immigration is something that many (if not most) conservatives don't really want.

Just look at recent twitter posts of various former and current congressman, or conservative personalities such as Kirk, Walsh, or Knowles. They're having open season on Mexicans and multiculturalism. Walsh even put out a tweet shitting on Mexican cuisine. I mean, really?

You have legal immigrants having their status stripped, by the hundreds of thousands, and the Trump administration closing the refugee program. Ok, fine, but then you give a pass to the white Afrikaaners? I'm not saying they don't deserve to be refugees, but this is ridiculous. Why preference for one group over the other?

If these people really cared for legal immigration, they'd fix the immigration process. It took 2 months to get a Green card when the program began in 1940. Whites got them with ease. It takes 10 years now. Why? Volume? Bureaucracy? Ok, fair. Then why don't conservatives fix the broken system? Answer: They don't want to.

I have friends who are green card holders who have been put in ICE jails. They're being treated like garbage. Kids being detained at schools? What kind of humanity is that? Citizens being placed in jails or being detained? Where does it end?

The outcry will only grow. And alienating 40 million Mexican-Americans is a bad move when they're indigenous to the Southwest and many in California. Not to mention how important Mexico is to the US economy. Mexico is the second largest oil exporter to the US behind Canada.

Most conservatives including myself are FOR legal immigration... but controlled immigration. Choosing who and how many we allow into the country.

No one is alienating any specific race... it is capturing those who are in the country illegally. Respect the laws of the country. The green card holders can be revoked and asked to leave if they have committed crimes. WE do not want criminal green card holders. It is not in the best interest of the country to house them. IF they come here and commit crimes, then leave. That is not why they were brought here.
