the real issue in LA right now is how the feds are handling deportations and treating people in general. the fast tracked deportation system violating any due process is inhumane, again, i am not advocating they get to stay here, but when feds pick them up and they're in a plane to who knows where before their family even knows what detention center they were at to get an attorney, they're gone. what the fvck. and then the idiot president antagonizes people that are frustrated with these scare tactics. LA riots are being escalated bc of how the feds are treating everyone, including citizens.

That's a lawsuit and a nice payday for the lunacy of the feds. Of course, neither the agents nor their superiors or Trump will ever take accountability for that stuff. The next president, likely a democrat, will be cleaning up trump's mess for a long time.

Yea this is the crux of the matter. My friend's case has been ongoing for 15 years and he's been detained twice now by ICE. The second time they put the ankle bracelet on him, for no reason. He's a legal resident who has to comply with weekly checkins at his home, which inhibits him to work.

These are Americans who have families, who have jobs, who run businesses. But Conservatives want to paint the image that it's just all illegals and just arrest them and deport. You have kids being taken from graduation ceremonies or at school. How is this ok? There's no regard for human life and it's apparent.

The question is why? The answer is simple...get rid of legal immigration. Trump just went on record last night saying he wants up to 1 year for burning the flag. Meanwhile, this issue has been solved over and over in the SCOTUS. But conservatives nor liberals care about free speech in reality.

This is one of the reasons I left Conservatism. It's filled with inconsistencies. Imagine telling a Mexican whose lineage goes back generations in places like California, Texas, Nevada, New Mexico, etc to "go back to Mexico."
