Default New Topic Projects For The Offseason

The off-season either starts in a couple more hours or a couple more days. Insidehoops needs a new project until the new season starts.

I came up with a few ideas. Which would be the best way to go?

Top 50 from the past 50 (76 onward-Post ABA merger)
So no Wilt, Russell, Cousy, West, Mikan, etc.

    Top 50 Defenders

    Top 50 Biig Men

    Top 50 Swingmen

    Top 50 Scorers of All-Time

    Top 25 Most Influential Players

    Top 25 Most Popular Players

50 is too long, people will likely lose interest after a while, I think 25 would be better. Just being honest, you're delusional if you think people are going to be on here arguing who the 16th most popular or influential player is, that's just not an interesting subject

Some ideas I think would be good

Top 25 peaks, you could maybe even extend that to 50

Top 25 defenders, or we could do top 10 at each position

    Top 25 title runs

Top 25 is nice. Probaby even top 20. 50 is way too long yea. 20 is best imo.

I won't participate because I generally dislike rankings, but for the sake of those who do participate I suggest making it Top 10 or Top 25...

Got my Kevin McHale offensive peak argument cooking. OP best be ready; I'm bringing top-notch data.

What about talking about draft prospects? Who do you think can be a bust, who can surprise people, etc. As you guys like so much talking about the past,
we can also discuss the biggests let-downs, the biggest steals, etc.

What conversation is really going to come out of a top 25...I mean really.

    If you want engagement...

    Top 25 - PG's, SG's, PF's, SF's and Centers
    Top 25 - Overrated Players of all-time
    Top 25 - Team-mates of all-time

But if you do best players ever it's just the same old same

All those topics are good. I would also suggest the top 25 choke jobs.
