People talk about the shot Kyrie hit but don't mention the tons of bricks thrown up by everyone before that shot. Maybe 4 minutes of misses. Something was bound to drop in the hoop eventually.

Everybody talks about that, that's probably one of the most talked about aspects of that game, that nobody could score for like 5 minutes before Kyrie's 3.

The last Cavs shot made was at 4:51. It was a three by LeBron that put the Cavs up 89-87.

Not sure if its because I didnt watch it for a while, or was in another mood, but I just got as emotional and teary watching it since when I saw it live.
What a moment.
Just crazy stuff.
Classic feel good achievement really. Very similar to the 2011 Mavs.
I think it would be not so different for Indiana, although much more out of nowhere and unsuspecting so it kind of misses that revenge/getting over the hump mark.

Just the stakes historically are completely different in this one. Obv SGA/Haliburton get a big boost legacy wise if they win, but 2016 was a history altering game with so much at stake between it's best players and teams. And while Indy would be capping off the most unlikely title ever, it just doesn't hold the epic narrative of Dirk knocking off the biggest villain the league has ever seen.

I was very pessimistic while watching this game Live in the last 5 minutes. I just kept thinking and saying shit out loud like, "It doesn't matter if LeBron made that three to put the Cavs up two. Curry will make another whack ass three again. Or when Kyrie made the shot to put them up 92-89, "It doesn't f*cking matter. Curry will heave a full court shot and make a three." Or the closings seconds of the game the Cavs are up 93-89, "Watch, Curry's going to hit and and-1 three and tie it. Watch!"
I was super negative the whole second half of the game.

Yes, would definitely not be as epic.
Doesnt have that same heroic story.
But it would feel very similarly feel good to me.

lmao. I feel you though. When things tend to not go your way where as they work out for the opponent, you get skeptical.
But the wind was blowing Clevelands way at that time, buddy.

Everyone waxes lyrical about that finals yet it was 6 blowouts then a brickfest finish to game 7. It was dramatic but as a spectacle it's so overrated.

No game went down the wire interestingly enough.
I just checked game 4 and its competely under- or more like unmentioned how Klay turned that game around.
Cavs were up 8 early 3rd quarter, critical juncture, Klay then scored 10 points on 3/3 shooting in 3.5 minutes to cut it to 3. Curry hit 1 3 in that stretch. Igoudala then hit a 3 to tie it and the Cavs would only be up 2 more times for a couple of seconds each, at the start of the 4th quarter.
Curry then padded insanely with 6 FTs in the last 31 seconds and a layup with under a minute to go up 7.
At the end it says Curry 38 points but in reality this mother****er had 30.
