The Bron fans are learning slowly but surely that the goat campaign moving forward is going to be an uphill battle for them. He'll be mentioned sure but his name will never carry the same significance.

Lebron will always be known as the player who had the most goat potential. I will give him that. He was a true prodigy and was better at a younger age than Jordan. When someone says "This guy is the Lebron James of X", that's what I envision. It's a way of saying that person is a once in a lifetime talent and the sky is limitless.

But when people say "This guy is the Michael Jordan of X".. everyone knows that carries a different significance. It means that person is the absolute best at what they do.

That's why Jordan will still be THEE goat when it's all said and done.
