The Hispanic Paradox

Hispanics in the US have a much better life expectancy than whites do, despite having significantly less wealth, less education, and many having no access to health care at all.
There are many different theories on this.
-Studies have shown their DNA to age slower
-Blue collar work keeps them in shape
-They work longer, retirement leads to quicker death
-Better circle of family, more active social lives than whites, elderly still live in same house as kids
-less sensitive to germs, bacteria, etc than whites
Anyone else have thoughts or input on this?

Re: The Hispanic Paradox
Without even looking at studies my assumption would be that a large portion of Hispanics eat traditional Hispanic food and lot of that is made from scratch. That for the most part would be way healthier than the over-processed stuff white people tend to eat (especially the poor). And secondly, a large portion of Hispanics do manual labor compared to the percentage of whites (assumingly).
Diet and exercise are the two biggest factors you can control regarding your life expectancy.
Does genetics and such play a role regarding race? Of course, but the biggest factor are the things I mentioned above which is heavily influenced by culture.

So Asians and Hispanics and Native American women were the only group that had a life expectancy greater than the average death age of the people who died from the Kung Flu?
