also interesting that the president owns hotels and is now pleading the feds to allow illegal hotel workers to stay. very interesting and totally not illegal or suspicious.

none of their claims are ever revisited by them bc they're all false and exaggerated.

Those jobs just don't disappear.

That labor is mostly being replaced by automation and the others having to pick up the slack. It's not being replaced by white people, that's for sure.
Still a work shortage in the restaurant industry because whites refuse to do it.
Illegals were a god send for whites tbh

This was an extremely telling response from you.
I made no mention of color. I said that the jobs being done by illegals would go to american citizens. But when you hear "american citizen", you immediately think of white people by default. You could have just as easily said that illegals do the jobs that americans won't, but you specifically chose to isolate white people. Very odd but revealing choice.
Can I ask why you have zero consideration for non-white americans who also might want to consider applying for a job?

So you have conceded my point and have now moved the goal post to I'm racist.

Why did you choose to isolate white people in your response?
Why go out of your way to say "white people are lazy" during a discussion about american jobs?

Oh yea? Interesting.
So if illegals are deported and all these job openings become available, and all the white people are too lazy, wouldn't that be a great thing for all the hardworking non-whites? Wouldn't that mean higher wages and less competition in the job market?
How come you don't want non-whites earning higher wages?

Absolutely some of them did, that relied heavy on cheap workforce. You don't think any businesses were effected by ICE raids?

US farmers depend on temporary foreign workers to harvest fruitUS business leaders are warning that Donald Trump’s plan to deport millions of undocumented workers could create mass labour shortages, closing restaurants, crippling farms and small businesses, and raising prices.
But mostly the ones who have had to quciky pivot and adjust are doing so by making the others work harder and finding ways to automate.

He's not looking to have a good faith discussion or arrive at the truth. He is motivated purely by whatever he believes will upset right wingers the most, even when he is on the wrong side of a common sense issue.
If Donald Trump and his supporters said that water was wet, he would be obligated to disagree out of pure resentment and hatred.
