Default Which of these teams wins a playoff-style tourney? (Remastered)

    80s team:
    Kareem Abdul-Jabbar
    Kevin McHale
    Larry Bird
    Michael Jordan
    Magic Johnson

    90s team:
    Hakeem Olajuwon
    Karl Malone
    Scottie Pippen
    Michael Jordan
    John Stockton

    00s team:
    Shaquille O'Neal
    Tim Duncan
    LeBron James
    Kobe Bryant
    Steve Nash

    10s team:
    Dwight Howard
    Lebron James
    Kevin Durant
    Kawhi Leonard
    Steph Curry

    20s team:
    Nicola Jokic
    Giannis Antetokounmpo
    LeBron James
    Steph Curry
    Luka Doncic

I'm aware Curry & LeBron won't be on the 20's team once the decade is finished, but they will be on there for now.

    This remastered version is dumb.

You have the same players on multiple teams. That defeats the whole point of it.

Hmmmm...who would win if Jordan played Jordan?

    90s Jordan > 80s Jordan

Three small forwards in the 2010s?
Replace McHale with Julius Erving and move Bird to Power Foward. He played PF for half of the decade while Cornbread was the 3 man.

Nah, McHale gives me better defense. Erving peaked higher in the 80's by winning MVP, but McHale's peak is right there. Besides, Erving was noticeably past his prime by like '83. McHale was the better player of the two from about '84 until Dr. J retired in '87, plus McHale was All-star caliber in '88 & '89 when Dr. J was gone. He deserves the spot.

SG at 10's really should have gone to Harden, but I liked how sexy the team looked with Kawhi. No doubt Harden deserves the spot. But made this thread like 10 min after full court made his disastrous thread, just made it for fun.

Absolutely idiotic putting the same players on multiple teams.

    But you do you.

And putting LeNetNegative on the 20s team is just retarded. But not at all surprising.

How so? If a player is deserving then there is no reason to no put him on both teams.

Jordan was the most deserving SG of the 80's
LeBron was the most deserving SF of the 00's.

Erving played 8 seasons in the 1980s not three. Was a top five player in the 80s for the first half of the decade and still an All-Star his last season in the league.
McHale doesn't deserve this slot, Julius does. You put 3 small forwards in the 2010s.
He's the only MVP of the 80s not on the team lol and was low key probably the most popular player of the decade.

He was an All-star because of his name/popularity. Shouldn't even have been an all-star the last 2 or 3 seasons of his career.

And Moses also won MVP and missed the cut, but wouldn't fight too hard if someone put him over Kareem.

Are you trying to say Kevin McHale > Julius Erving?

Dr J's last three seasons he was 19/5/3.
McHale in those same three seasons was about 22/9/2
Doctor was better than McHale 6 of the 8 seasons in the decade of the 80s.

Yea, lets ignore the significant scoring efficiency edge and enormous defensive edge McHale had on him. To say Erving was better in 6 of the 8 seasons is crazy work.

Erving made the All-star team averaging 17 points while not providing much playmaking and defense in his final year. That all-star selection was given to him.

How is it crazy, 80 to 85 is Julius Erving.
I know you like Kevin McHale, but you have to start being real with yourself about this.
There is not one season between 1980 and 1985 where McHale was better than the Doctor. 86 and 87, are McHale years, that's his peak vs Docs final years.
I'm not sure if you're trolling or being series

McHale wasn't even in the league in '80.

    '81-'83 goes to Erving
    '84-'87 goes to McHale

They were comparable offensively in '84, you might give the edge to Dr. J, although I believe McHale's big edge on defense makes up for it.

To say Erving was better than McHale in '85 is simply false. Erving was in noticeable decline by that point, while McHale was Boston's best player in the '85 Finals averaging 26/11 on 60% shooting. Erving didn't come close to producing anything like that in '85. McHale even dropped 56 on the Pistons that year, his numbers would have been better if he was a starter all year. We done with Dr. J!
