To answer the OP's question, we are actually evolving for the better. Attacks like this are actually on the decline. In fact it's a huge decline since the 90s. There just weren't smart phones around in the 90s to record it all.

Prison populations are actually dropping. Incarceration rates are dropping.

Society is on the right path with this. We just wouldn't know it because videos like this one are now common place when in the past they were not.

This is what happens when you enslave people and strip them of their culture. If you simply didn't bring over slaves, the black community in this country would probably be a 3rd of what it is. You have no one to blame but your ancestors. By attitude I mean more like a state of mind or outlook. No, it isn’t fair for black people, but what are you going to do? Class inequality runs rampant, sure, but you still have way more opportunities here than most African countries. You wanna give the finger to racists who hate black people? Make something of yourself. I’m not saying you’ll become Jeff Bezos, but most people are capable of getting a cpa/ cfa/ pass the lsats/bar. It’ll be difficult I won’t sugar coat it, and it’ll probably take you a few tries but most people of average intelligence can do it with the right amount of work. Just saying, you make it sound like black people don’t have a choice. Have you seen actual immigrants who really don’t have a choice, and how they or their children hit the books?

Just makes it worse. And those saying that "this is what society gets, the aftermath of slavery" are also looking at it from a poor angle. Slavery justifies none of this.

I think that both sides of the coin are 100% fully aware that black populations teetering on poverty levels are more prone to violence than other populations. That point does not need to be made. Rappers boast that point, and no one has ever argued otherwise. The ghettos are dangerous and house dangerous people. We all know this. So the point of showing a video of blacks being voilent and saying "see everyone!?" is pointless. No one is going to have a sudden epiphany that blacks are more dangerous.
