A major tragedy happened and you're looking for some sort of moral victory centering around race and /or just trolling people about it? So what is your point exactly, racism wins? Around sophomore year, the friend said, Robinson became more extreme in his political views and would “always just be ranting and arguing about them”.

The friend said that they played video games together a lot in high school and noted that the bullet engraving with the arrows was a reference to Helldivers 2 – which we mentioned earlier. He said that the arrows specifically were in reference to “calling in a big bomb that exists” in the game “called the 500 kilogram”.

When the friend saw the news on Friday, he said that he was shocked. “I knew he [Robinson] had strong political views, but I never thought it would even go near that far.”

The friend said that he has not spoken to Robinson in years and began to drift apart toward the end of high school. Another high school classmate separately told the Guardian that the friend and Robinson were close in school and would play video games.

no, i just won't be pressured into feeling sorry for a man that spread hate. do you acknowledge the fact that this man essentially danced on the grave of george floyd, as did his viewers and supporters?

I think the left is desperately trying to prove it isn't some trans person for their own safety. Just yesterday, before even knowing who the shooter is rightwing networks and the largest online platforms like Daily Wire were advocating for a Civil War over this. Not some goofy, random twitter account- there are always going to be one-off wackos out there... but the largest platforms out there representing the voice of the right. Meanwhile, the meaningful voices on the left have all been condemning it, so idk what more you want, 100 million liberals aren't all going to agree. Actually, I kind of do. You want to take the one-off videos of random unhinged people and paint that brush over every single liberal in the US, because hatred and tribalism- and call for the extinction of their ideology because you don't agree with it. When was the last time the left has called for a civil war over rightwing fueled political crimes? No, the left leaning states just basically fund the US govt while the bible belt leeches. At no point in any of the hours of discussions I’d seen over the years involving him did I get the impression that the guy spread hatred. He debated people, sometimes provocatively via his bravado and challenge my position stance at best, and tried to use common sense and apply his own values which to the best of his ability formed ideas that seemed fair or righteous to his values of family, faith and freedoms. He always then allowed people with opposing ideas an opportunity to share their perspectives and respond. You’re lost in this world my friend and I mean that in a deep spiritual sense. You talk about race like it matters more than values and ideas … or your humanity.
