Okay maybe the line isn't that bad. It also isn't good so that doesn't help.

There's also a HUGE intangible factor with rookies QBs and the coaching staff that shouldn't go unnoticed. The way someone can gel or not with the OC in particular is very important. It doesn't seem like the vibes are good in general with them at the moment and I don't believe it's Cam's fault at all.

Think of all of the best quarterbacks you've seen. All were drafted into or ultimately came into very good situations. Brady with Belicheck, Mahomes with Reid, Manning with Dungy (that one is a little flimsier but it's Peyton), Brees getting with Payton, etc.

Luck plays a big factor and we need to wait and see how things shake out.

As GOBB mentioned, look at Baker right now. Playing like a top 5 guy in the league and probably leading the MVP race, even though Allen and Mahomes will probably be the top 2 at the end of course.

Fred Warner going down was pretty tragic. Tough day for Niner fans. It’s a homer take but I’ve thought Warner should have gotten more talk for DPOY in some
of the past years when he was healthy. Niners defense collapsed after he went out.

Joe Flacco has had one of the strangest NFL careers.

Was never a top tier QB, but had an insane playoff run to win a super bowl. Has been a backup for the last 7 years or so, but these last couple of years every time he starts a game he seems to play better than he did for most of Ravens days. Dude is 40 now.

He’s always been a good but not elite QB but he has been consistent with stepping up when needed. He’s a big time over achiever or might simply be underrated depending on how you look at it.

17th on the all-time wins list with one more win he passes Terry Bradshaw, he's already passed Bart Starr, Troy Aikman, and Jim Kelly.

Russell Wilson plays for good teams and fails, Joe Flacco plays for bad teams and wins...Russ is likely going to make the Hall and Joe isn't. Meanwhile you know what team really needs a backup QB every season...The Baltimore F'N Ravens.

Meanwhile the guy ahead of Joe on the wins list is Matt Stafford so he's not going to pass him

First QBs ages are irrelevant in today’s game. 40 in 2025 is not 40 in 1995. The new rules are a direct result of QBs being able to play longer than expected or have a sudden drop off in production. Calling Russell a loser whereas Flacco is a winner is strange. Flacco record away from Baltimore isn’t “winner” status by any means. Also majority of his “wins” in were in Baltimore where defense was a priority for the most part. And before you counter with Seattle defense. Keep in mind you’re saying Russ is a loser and Flacco is a winner. And I’m sure Russ has won more in Seattle than Flacco has in Baltimore.

Hes a boss like Eli Manning and thats coming from an Eagles fan. Old Man Winter Aaron Rodgers balled out with 4 TD passes too. Fantasy gold mine in this game.

Clown take. Russ has been trash everywhere hes gone since. Where as Flacco has balled or been at least above average most of the time. Seattles defense and Marshawn Lynch were even better than anything Flacco was working with. You forgot that last part though.

    Keep talking tho.

I didn’t include the giants (Russ) and Bengals (Flacco) because the games played were 3 and 2 respectively. Pointless to even include. But carry on tho.

Eli manning is not a boss. You sound like someone that calls average chicks dimes. Now that’s a clown take.

We've watched Russ get pwned by Justin Fields, Bo Nix, and Jaxson Dart. Flacco on the other hand has gone to disaster teams and made them contend.

And Eli is twice the QB Russ was, it's an obscenity that he didn't go in the Hall as a first ballot guy.

I wouldn't call him an overachiever per say. He was a first round pick taken in the top 20. He was always seen as an average QB for the most part, was actually below average in some seasons. I don't even think he was a better QB than Derek Carr if you are comparing their primes, Flacco just happened to step up in big moments and is now randomly playing good football at an old age.

That is fair to be honest.

anyone who thinks Eli manning should’ve gone first ballot doesn’t watch football with both eyes open. His only claim to fame is SB. He never was the best QB. He never made all pro teams where usually the best players at that position get selected. His stats are nothing spectacular. .500 record as a QB. TD-INT ratio isn’t great. Barely hit 60% completion for a career. Go create a hall of very good players. He’s first ballot there.

He had a .500 because he played in a division with killers and a conference where the pro-bowl spots were always going to Brees, Rodgers, Favre. Eli played with 1 Hall of Famer who retired after they won the first title. The Giants were always going to win between 10-6 games because of Eli being an iron man whose 2 minute was the best in the league.

You put Eli on the Patriots and Brady on the Giants...and Tom Brady ain't in the league 5 years
