Rambling nonsense.

There is a theory online that Trump watched "A House of Dynamite" before the order became public.

It wasn't a nuclear weapon test. Why? Seismographs would pop off around the world if it was.

It would set off nuclear arms race yet again, which impacts all of our lives. Russia has already said so if someone does so. And China would get to it.
And everyone would know because seismographs would pick it up. North Korea is the only country to have tested a nuclear weapon in the 21st century.
"If someone deviates from the moratorium, Russia will act accordingly," Peskov said.
If the U.S. "opens the door to nuclear testing," Davenport said Russia and China would have "more opportunities to test and refine those warhead designs."
"The computing power of the U.S. National Labs really gives the United States an edge here, but resuming nuclear testing could allow states like Russia and China to catch up with the United States,” she added.

US doesn't need to prove anything. We have the biggest and baddest nukes. Everyone knows it.
"Love war and posturing against Russia"? You're a hilarious comedian.
There's different levels of testing nuclear weapons and doesn't always include actually detonating a bomb, like what Russia just did. Doesn't matter who has the biggest and most nukes when everyone ends up dying anyways.
You're definitely a top 3 guy on ISH in terms of supporting efforts to sustain the war in Ukraine instead of negotiating peace, I clearly remember your posts about weakening Russia being such a great thing, spewing out comments about it similar to Joe Biden and Lindsey Graham.

What Russia tested isn't a nuclear weapon. It's the delivery system aka missile. America already currently tests long-range missiles, but nobody calls it nuclear weapon testing.
I'm a pacifist except when it's for self-defense. If another country invades you, you may defend yourself. And for other countries to help defend you from the invaders. A negotiation agreement must begin with the invader pulling back from the territory they forcefully took over.

So much for someone who pursues deals and deals and deals..

Re: Trump orders Pentagon to start testing nuclear weapons
I remember when Trump was running the first time and he was asked if he would ever use nuclear weapons, he responded by saying something along the lines of "you can never take it off the table" and of course the libs lost their minds. "HOW COULD HE SAY THAT!?!? YOU SHOULD NEVER DECLARE THAT YOU'RE WILLING TO USE A NUCLEAR WEAPON!?!?"
Now they're upset he's testing them. Because god forbid.
Just not serious people.

Yes, God forbid. Do you even understand what a nuclear bomb does?

So you wish to broadcast to our enemies that:
- We have nuclear weapons but we don't ever plan on using them no matter what.
- We have nuclear weapons but they've never been tested.

Nuclear weapons haven't been tested in 30 years. I don't know why but I am constantly surprised by how completely ignorant you are about issues you insist on talking about. I should know better by now.

Uh, how is that relevant?
You clearly think Donald Trump is the devil, so obviously you just assume he wants to test nuclear weapons because he's a mustache twirling villain who wants to destroy the planet. It never occurred to you that he could have a legitimate wartime reason. Perhaps he knows something you don't. Perhaps there's a reason for him wanting to demonstrate this power.
Either way I'm 100% positive that if Brandon did this, you wouldn't have a problem with it.

Trump said other countries are testing their nuclear weapons programs and that he wants the US to do the same on an equal basis. So if other countries are testing delivery systems, why do you think his statement means that he wants to blow up nukes? Sounds like TDS.
Also, detonating nuclear bombs is what you'd call full scale testing, but there's lots of other testing to be done:
Since the 1996 Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty, "nuclear explosions" of all kinds are banned. Nuclear nations have invested in many alternatives to maintain confidence in weapon capability:
Computer simulation is used extensively to provide as much information as possible without physical testing. Mathematical models for such simulation model scenarios not only of performance but also of shelf life and maintenance.[4][5] A theme has generally been that even though simulations cannot fully replace physical testing, they can reduce the amount that is necessary.[6]
Physical testing
Materials testing
Subcritical (or cold) tests involving fissile materials and high explosives that purposely result in no yield. The name refers to the lack of creation of a critical mass of fissile material. Subcritical tests continue to be performed by the United States, Russia, and the People's Republic of China, at least.[7][8]
Proxy isotope testing: high temperature/density/pressure compression testing of non-fissile isotopes such as plutonium-242 or uranium-238, to determine a bomb core's relevant equation of state.
Fission testing
Critical mass experiments studying fissile material compositions, densities, geometries, and reflectors. They can be subcritical or supercritical, in which case significant radiation fluxes can be produced. This type of test has resulted in several criticality accidents.
Hydronuclear tests (hydrodynamical + nuclear) study nuclear materials under the conditions of explosive shock compression. They can create subcritical conditions, or supercritical conditions with yields ranging from negligible all the way up to a substantial fraction of full weapon yield.
Fusion testing: inertial confinement fusion experiments using lasers, like the National Ignition Facility, or magnetized liners, like the Z Pulsed Power Facility, or projectile compression. These study the plasma physics and ignition of deuterium-tritium mixtures.

They're just tests. If anything, it would be like only 3 or 4 countries that would test one nuke each. Not a big deal, bro.
