Question 19 ppg 64.5% TS is pretty sick for a sg.. but must he pronounce his name "Ka-nipple"?

It's obviously of some kind of Germanic derivation, I assume it was originally something like "Knüppel" with the umlaut before his great granddady got processed at Ellis Island. I believe that'd be pronounced something like "Noo-pell" back in the Rhineland, Arby or Overdrive can correct me on that.

It's just so awkward to keep hearing him referred to as "ka-nipple." I cringe at the sound of it. Makes me picture his nipples and I'm really not tryin to do any of that. Can this be brought to his attention somehow with a request to change the public pronunciation?

I don’t think Kon gives a fk what anyone thinks of his silly sounding (in English) surname. He’s busy being the adult in the room, on an immature team he is taking control of, over some little rat faced scamwagon self-serving b@stard. That said, fam should have changed it to Knüpp, shortly after his great grandfather assimilated.

We had this fairly fine athletic chick with the surname Knüpp at my first high school. Cross country, Golf, Tennis, Track, one of them girls. Never hit as we were in very different circles. Gonna search her name and see what she looks like now. Thanks.

24 points on 13 shots so far tonight. 6 of 9 from three.

I dont think this start is gonna be a fluke. He might just be an all time great shooter in the making.

Hes got a lot in common physically and skill set wise with a prime James Harden. Except he'll likely be mentally tough under pressure to boot. And hes only 19 right now. Going up against grown men.

Once he's the grown man... look out. He's gonna be one of the best scorers in the game. GOBB on suicide watch.

    Charlotte finally got a guy.

A comparison to Harden is insanely stupid. It's like comparing Jordan and Ray Allen because they were both bald SGs. OP has to be in the top 10 worst posters on this board.

Yeah, well, youre a much smarter guy than I am and I'm sure everyone would agree. So really what can I say? Cant even try to argue. I'm outclassed and I know it.

    You smarmy dick

But yes....I still prefer to say nipple as much as possible so we're in agreement. It's annoying.

Also Im not talking about the flopping foul-baiting STYLE of Harden. Thats why I specifically said body type and skill set, I didnt say playstyle.

They have that wide body base, crafty below the rim 'old man' game, leveraging angles and using touch around the basket, solid midrange ability and of course a healthy dose of threes mixed in.

In terms of size and skills hes quite similar to the player Harden came in the league as.

    Not quite at all.

He's closer to Klay but more of a playmaker *nipple* type than he is to Harden. Not a "gimme the ball lest I best lazy" guy at all.

So in terms of body type, you would say he's closer to Klay Thompson.

    Okay. Fair enough.

He's going to average like 21 ppg, 6 rpg, 3.5 apg on 63% TS as a rookie. That's how his numbers are trending right now.

    Last 11 games: 23.2 ppg, 6.5 rpg, 3.5 apg, 0.9 spg, 0.4 bpg on 50.9% FG, 44.1% 3PT, 94.1% FT, 67.1% TS.

Robust white guy dominating with skill & will? 50/40/90 threat? Guard Larry Bird! Buff Austin Reaves (without the foul baiting... yet) mixed with Klay Thompson. Buff Devin Booker but with better three-point shooting.

Or just Harden without the cancer.
