Default Should the league send Ant Man to a higher profile market like they did with Luka?

No disrespect to the Timberwolves organization but it's just not a franchise that has a lot of buzz around it. It feels like Edwards is kinda off the grid up there.

I wanna see him play with Wembanyama, or in Madison Square Garden, or on an exciting young team like Chicago.

While the TWolves are maybe a bit closer to 'contender' than 'pure treadmill fodder' I'm not sure it's by much. Theyre not young/on the come up and theyre not really true contenders. Just doesnt seem like the kinda place to really capitalize on an exciting young player like Edwards. And obviously Minneapolis itself is not really a marquee basketball city.

Does the league need to step in for the league's sake and install Nico Harrison as Detroit's new GM in preparation for a trade deadline blockbuster that Nico will make entirely on his own?

As a fan I can only hope so.

He's a little bit overrated. We've seen in the playoffs that he can be made to wilt under pressure.

IMO thats mainly about the Wolves not having anyone else who can put pressure on the defense. He has to do everything offensively, and when opponents commit to stopping him specifically the team grinds to a halt. He's not completely unstoppable in the way Luka can always pass over top of the defense, or SGA can always get to an automatic midrange. If you really want to stop Edwards you can, but it's going to leave other guys open. And thats where the Wolves couldnt capitalize.

I think if you pair him with an aggressive guard like Giddy or a gravity big man like Giannis or Wembanyama it would really free him up to be his ideal self. Thats the situation I wanna see him playing in.

The Wolves players arent bad they just dont really complement him. Rudy is obviously a non-threat on offense. Naz Reid is mostly a shooter. DiVincenzo is a solid role player. Nobody really sets Ant up to play off ball for some of the game. Randle is fine but he's more of a grinder, he's not that dynamic.

I think Ant would be at his most dynamic working with another dynamic player.

Let me ask my own self a question:

Should the Wolves trade for Zion?
