Re: Ingram revived the Raptors
Ingram came in with 8:31 left in the 4th up by 10. Then proceeded to go 0-8, including the game winner which resulted in a loss in OT to the lowly Pels.

I was telling people he could do this years ago & they laughed at me. He's one of the best volume mid-range scorers of this era and now that he's on an actual team and in the LEastern Conference people will see it for themselves.
Do what?
Have an anomalous small sample size win streak in November against a very easy schedule before losing 5 of 6 to even things out?
I think probably a lot of people could do that, chief.

It's not going to be perfect, but they're a legitimately good EC team now when people dogged the trade coming into the season. It's a big step up from being outright terrible on offense and not having anyone who could create their own shit in the half court in crunch time.
They went 3 - 0 against the Cavs in November so it's not just beating bad teams. They also beat Milwaukee (with Giannis healthy and them having a good start to the season) and the Sixers and Lakers needed a buzzer-beater to take them out. Some of the losses are whatever but you can cherry-pick these with almost any team in the league where they looked bad on a given night.

Re: Ingram revived the Raptors
Ingram is a good player. We should let that be the focus. Too often we have seen good players that really did nothing to deserve hate get disrespected because one or more of their fans got overzealous. Yes, silly things have been said but again, not Ingram's fault. Toronto will be somewhere between 3rd and 8th by season's end and Ingram should be an allstar. Well done. If people want to celebrate him having a better season than a guy who has yet to play a game? Fine, have it. By that standard he's better than Jordan too.

Some injury will happen (likely Ingram) and the Raptors will come back to earth and people will forget about this season. Reminds me a few years ago of the Jazz getting off to a hot start then they fell back down to earth.

As opposed to what? I don't think he has a history of bad knees or ankles or a bad back so what's the injury that's so likely to happen here?

You tell me. Since his rookie year he has played between 18 and 64 games. This year he will suddenly be an iron man for some reason?

Playing on bad/tanking teams means you get held out for longer periods of time so they can lose more games. That's been the case with him. He had a serious high ankle sprain in December last year but ain't no way that's a 5-month injury, they shelved him in Toronto so they could tank for the draft after they made the trade.

A high ankle sprain can certainly leave you out a long time
He played 55 45 and 64 for 2 playoff teams and a team that tied for last playoff spot. It is possible that he becomes an iron man this season but odds are against it.

Who said he's gonna be an ironman though? Guys miss games. Almost every starter/all-star misses like 15 games on average so 60-70 games is pretty much the norm with most of these guys. He's played all of the 26 games thus far. Would be nice to have your psychic abilities when it comes to injuries but most of us can't tell the future.
