Makes sense why he'd fake an injury the first week into the season without Klay around all year. Having to actually exert effort on defense takes fatigue on your offense. To no surprise Warriors are 1-5 this year without Klay there to pick up Curry's man
This is a good post. It makes me wonder why LeBron didn’t dunk it on him instead of passing to George Hill.

Interesting interview from Klay Thompson in 2018
Klay Thompson of the Golden State Warriors is one of the best shooters to ever play the game of basketball. This much as been proven throughout his already illustrious career.
But something that constantly gets overlooked is how good of a defender he is, and what it takes not only be a focal point of an offense, but a defense as well. Thompson always has to guard the opposing team’s best player. And in the Western Conference, doing that means no nights off for Thompson.
Recently in the past three NBA Finals, Thompson has had to guard both LeBron James and Kyrie Irving. Now that Irving was traded to the Boston Celtics, however, there is no one hopper than Thompson.
“I’m happy I don’t to check Kyrie anymore, though, that’s for sure,” Klay Thompson told reporters on Tuesday. “He is tough.

The Warriors didn't even make the playoffs, and the guy is still rent free in your heads? The three massive Ls on Lebron have really hurt you guys.

Not everybody can be as good at defense on LeBron as J.J. Barea but here's a Steph Curry imitation:
Then again maybe the world of lemmings out there just don't have a clue when it comes to Stephen Curry.
Curry had help.

Even tho. Also, iguodala was a noteworthy defensive stalwart and bogut was included in the all-defensive second team that year as well.

Kind of crazy to think Stephen Curry's most notable playoff moment may be his defense on Kyrie's series cementing shot.
They were targeting Stephen to get him on Kyrie instead of Klay.
