The best goat argument ever? (5 sentences)
Kareem and Worthy outscored Magic for entire playoff runs, while Wade and AD outscored Lebron in 11' and 20' (Kyrie matched him in 16')... And Kobe outscored Shaq and vice versa..
So everyone in history needed a "Jordan" capable of outscoring them, while Jordan only needed a Pippen, who averaged 10-30 less than Jordan in every series (with less career apg)..
Essentially, Jordan is the first Jordan (someone that just needs a pippen), while everyone else in history is a pippen that needs a Jordan (someone to outscore them)..
so only needing pippen is unprecedented and infact goat, not a knock - everyone else had a 1a/1b situation, while MJ had a true 2nd option that scored far less and wasn't a big scorer

More lies, Kobe never outscored Shaq during their 3 peat. By your logic Shaq is the 2nd greatest player of all time, a statement no NBA fan would make.

Wade and Kyrie never out-rebounded Lebron. AD never out assisted him.
Pippen did more of BOTH than MJ.

I dont think it’s unreasonable to argue Shaq is #2 behind Bron

Wade and Kyrie out-assisted lebron and AD out-rebounded him..
Everyone has teammates out-assist, out-rebound, and outscore them, including lebron
Except mj
No one ever outscored mj.. he's the only guy EVER that didn't need an equal-scoring partner and therefore is goat.. every series was a 1-man scoring distribution (carry-job)

Kobe outscored Shaq in 03' and 04' Playoffs, and Wade outscored Shaq in 06'

Hakeem didnt have an equal scoring partner AND he didnt have a teammate as good as Pippen. And Hakeem doesnt rank ahead of Bron. So imagine what that means for MJ.

Rick Barry, Hakeem, & Dirk all won with their 2nd option being much worse than Pippen. Try again.
Pippen is considered the undisputed best SF of the 90's, best defensive SF ever, and one of the greatest sidekicks ever, no matter how hard you try to deny that fact, it's still true.

Ralph Sampson destroys Pippen on both ends and outscored Hakeem in various series, including matching Hakeem in the 85' Playoffs overall... Hakeem was also outscored in the 99' Playoffs
Again, everyone needed a Jordan (someone to outscore them), while Jordan only needed apippen
