Japan to send wooden satellite into orbit

The world's first wooden satellite, built by Japanese researchers, was successfully launched into space from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center on Monday, in an early test of using timber in lunar and Mars exploration.

LignoSat, developed by Kyoto University and homebuilder Sumitomo Forestry, will be flown to the International Space Station on a SpaceX mission, and later released into orbit about 400 km (250 miles) above the Earth.

Named after the Latin word for "wood," the palm-sized LignoSat is tasked to demonstrate the cosmic potential of the renewable material as humans explore living in space.

Once deployed, LignoSat will stay in the orbit for six months, with the electronic components onboard measuring how wood endures the extreme environment of space, where temperatures fluctuate from -100 to 100 degrees Celsius every 45 minutes as it orbits from darkness to sunlight.

What happened was that Axe, who's angry that Trump won, bumped this thread with his 2qr3 account, logged off and back in with his Axe account and responded to my comment. All to humor himself for his own amusement as to feel that he got a win.

That's probably the whole motivation behind this stunt.

That's not me, though. Just because RRR3 says it's me doesn't make it so. If he's an alt, pretending to be me, then it would require another poster with a massive IQ. Simply because of what it takes to imitate the unique aspects of another person, specially one who types a lot. So for that reason alone, it dramatically lowers the pool of possible people.

So I would say that there's an 90% chance that he's a legit poster, due to the limited number of people who would be able to play the character.
