18 pts on 7-9 atm but theyre losing to the Raptors bc Tatum is 5-15 and Brown is 4-14. Horford, Holiday and Pritchard all have more FGA than him so far as well. Altho Pritchard is now 7-10 for 20 points, the only guy actually outscoring KP at the moment.

Theyd be a better team if they fed Pingis more, but Brown and Tatum are too proud to let a new guy outshine them on 'their' team. Im not saying he has to shoot more than them overall, just more than he does.

And Im not saying they cant win this way - obviously they did last year. Im just saying theyd be even better.

    They can’t win this year.

You would think the Celtics were a bad team the way some of you talk about them. They lose a game and suddenly the sky is falling. It's January and the defending Champions are in second. They need to defend better but they have almost the exact same team as last year and no one has truly regressed individually. People talking about them clearly don't watch.

They have lost a lot. They had 4 losses or something. I understand you are a fan, and that’s cool, but I know you are not young, either. Tatum’s game is disgusting considering his talent level and the Cs are built like giant killers with all the threes they shoot. Except there aren’t really giants, so what I think will happen is they will kill themselves. As the Cs approach 40% 3 they become very hard to beat. It’s not really possible to do that the way they shoot, so that’s more of a pencil the win number, as they fall under 35, though, they become able to lose to anyone. They are averaging more than that, and last game they shot OK, but when I check their box scores it seems the games they are losing, they are raw bricking.

When they brick they lose to trash teams.

Guy averaging 28, 9 and 5 is "disgusting?" Tatum continues to attract random hate that makes no sense. They are second in the conference in the middle of January. I understand that your aren't a fan but make sense please.

There's probably a reason why no team has really fed Zingis as much as he wants. He must be annoying or something, but he seems to have grown up and changed, so I figure his issue is probably that he's a black hole in general. He passes more now, but generally Zingis just shoots when he gets the ball and then teammates don't really want to pass you the ball.

Harden put up way better numbers haha, if you wanna go there. His game is trash considering he's a 30ppg guy.

He's still got time to grow, tho; he's not even in his 'prime,' and he's got a ring. He needs someone to light his ass. You'd think losing FMVP and getting benched on Team USA would be enough, but I dunno. He seems happy where he is.

    Edit:

Nah they are prol afraid he's gonna get injured when he catches the ball. He put on a show that one game in the playoffs. He isn't a run the offense type of guy, though, but he is real nice in the high post. That + open 3s + cuts and oops is all you need. He's definitely way more talented than his role, but that's not wrong. If he stays healthy, Cs will be tough, tho ultimately LOSE. I got a feeling he's going down again.

About to be first team AllNBA for the fourth straight year averaging 28, 9 and 5 and you call him "trash." You have to show some sign of being rational if I'm going to seriously debate this. You want to think the Celtics are hopeless, that's your business. Doesn't have anything to do with who's going to win anyway.

The thing with Zingis is that he can't be a number 1, but he will have enough games where he is number 1 and if you don't feed him then, it's going to be wasted. He has MVP ceiling and a low floor.

I thought Boston did ok actually feeding him when he was hot, this was Knicks and Mavs never did.

The thing is all you have to do is go to him consistently early to force the defense to adjust. He can run up a lot of points rim running and pick n popping out to the three, but the wings dont use him off the pick nearly as often as they could. They should be spamming him as a play finisher until the defense adjusts, and then it becomes easier for the ball handlers. Instead, Tatum and Brown will go to him once, almost as a formality, and then look him off the next 10 plays in favor of trying to 'go to work' with the iso skills, before going back to him again.

Boston could use KP the way Dallas uses Gafford and Lively, but they only throw him lobs maybe once a quarter. He could be finishing lobs at the rim CONSTANTLY but the Celtics stars wanna show off their bag.

I dont think they need to worry about posting him up, I know there was that weird stat last year about how he had the highest point per post up in the league or something, I think that was kind of an anomaly. His post game is pretty awkward due to his high center of gravity, last year a lot of the awkward shots kinda just happened to roll in. However he's got excellent mobility for a 7'2 guy and the Celtics dont feed him on pick n roll or pick n pop nearly as often as they could, because again their tenured guys wanna remain the team's scoring leaders for vanity purposes.

Zingis brings out the worst in people, all the insecurities, the manlets like Brown and Tatum, the insecure balkans that can't handle the baltic superiority.

The way he plays is a low key disgrace, yeah. At least he's not a flopper. I don't wanna debate. I am just saying. I would love to hear why you think the Cs have a chance of contending or what the role of Porzingis should be, but I don't need any affirmation for my belief that Tatum has the bum gene.
