Default LeBron is not who I thought he was. Willingly taking the backseat

when you know you are the best player on the team is pathetic. I cant defend this shit. Luka took 28 shots and lebron took 9. LeBron still outplayed him. He should be the 1st option on this team and because he refuses to do it, the Lakers are going home. Lakers in 5 huh? Lakers in cancun in 5 smh. BTW Antman is a legend at 23-years-old. 1st Ballot hall of famer already

LeBron is better off ball and he's a better defender so it's better for Luka to be the primary ball handler.

Luka for a number of years has also been better at beating his man and shooting and getting people off balance and scoring. No reason to take that from him.

No wonder he was so gassed after taking a lot of shots, esp. after coming off unwell in the previous game.

Edwards had a better game today by 23 than Embiid's had his entire playoff career.

Luka was trapped for an entire half and still ended with more points than Bran despite Bran playing 4 on 3 all game.

Bron was the reason they stayed in it and were up for most of the game. He was getting to the line. I think he had 14 FTA in the first half. I don't know what more Bron can do. Luka was missing down the stretch and only had 2 assists and 1 rebound. If you need a scapegoat, Bron ain't it. Maybe Reddick is your scapegoat because he played Lebron 46 minutes at 40 years old.

They both played selfishly at the end of the game, had bad shot selection and lost it. LeBron did the same thing with AD. He is insistent that he and whoever the next best player is shoot the last shots down the stretch. This is a mindless way of playing. Always think TEAM first.

There's a simplistic adage going around that the "BEST PLAYER TAKES THE LAST SHOT". That the leader has to take the shot, has to step up, not fade away in these moments. LeBron has taken something with has "some" merit and taken it to the extreme. Teams win games, even in the final minute.

Ever heard of Big Shot Bob? Robert Horry wasn't the best player on his team. But with the game on the line, he was often open. So he got to shoot the ball. Team's win by making smart decisions to close games, not through vanity heroball by the team's top player(s). Lakers gave Game 4 away to the Wolves, in the final minutes- all through selfish chucking by Doncic and LeBron.

Same exact thing that caused LeBron and the Lakers to lose the last few playoffs in last few years.

Have we watched the same guy? He often passes to the open guy and gets criticized for not taking the last shot, lol.

Nah; go back and watch the last few minutes - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qik3vkq3JMY . You can track all the boneheaded shots by Doncic and LeBron. Very little facillitation, mostly hero-ball.

LeBron is an amazing player in almost every aspect of the game. But this hero-balling down the stretch.....I called it out last year when Lakers lost to the Nuggets in the playoffs, I'm pretty sure on this forum. Him and Davis were chucking 3's and forced 2's in the last quarter of losing games for no reason.

yesterday Bron , made three defensive stops in a row ... haven't seen a 20 year old do that in the whole year.

    Think about that.

He is a top 5 player in the history of the league.

This doesn't seem at all correct, so I looked it up and over the last 7 minutes the Laker shot selection went as follows

    Reaves: 5
    Luka: 3
    LeBron: 2
    Rui: 1
    DFS: 1

What you posted wasn't at all accurate in describing what transpired yesterday. Did you really think LeBron was being too selfish when he scored 0 points in the 4th lol
