dominant bc the refs allowed him. again, tell me why he isn't even in the mix for contending since then? he's not going to sniff the finals or even a deep playoff run until he joins another superstar. he isn't that guy. the league literally contoured their rules to allow him to get away with offensive fouls and travels. without the officials stepping in, he would not have had a "dominant" run. manufactured like a mothafukka. not even SGA's foul baiting is that egregious.

The biggest reason his teams haven't done much is injuries. I believe he's personally had two season-ending injuries in the playoffs and then this season Lillaird got hurt. Now its entirely possible that his teams go out in the same rounds healthy but ignoring how unlucky Milwaukee has been for a few years now doesn't make sense.

Yeah that's true.
I think Pacers play ball the right way, lots of effort, doesn't feel as spammy as other teams.
Carlisle is great, he made Luka-Mavs look great too on offense.

I dont think it will. Teams always look to add those types. When teams win those type of players are noticed more by casuals. But I feel they are all over the league.

For once me and you agree. Many Kirk hinrich clones. TJ has always been one of em dating back to Philly.

Team oriented ball never sets the trend. Just think back to what the Spurs did to Miami. Who copied that?
Who copied the Ben wallace pistons? Bird’s Celtics?

not sure why we keep bringing up different eras of basketball when i clearly mentioned it's a recent trend that has been increasing.
within the last 5 years, teams to make the finals without a top 5 player:
Celtics (22)
Heat (23)
Suns (20)
Pacers (25)

Kerr copied that and took passing (and 3pt shooting) basketball to another level - produced a dynasty. Teams had always been trying to copy the Spurs' organization/culture model (not necessarily the playing style earlier until 2014). The passing was a necessity as the Big 3 (Duncan in particular) aged.
Warriors was a WHOPPING 41.6% 3 pt shooting for the ENTIRE 2016-17 season. Spurs 46.6% in 2014 Finals. For reference, this past season, MIL had the highest 3 pt % at 38.7

Atlanta also copied Spurs.
Warriors did copy Spurs, but removed the midrange game, but lets not forget their best teams had big centers like Bogut, so they weren't 5-out teams.

Specific to the times he was blocked tonight, he should be able to shoot over Turner. Turner is a great shot blocker but we're talking about a 7-footer with a 7'6 wingspan. Only Wemby should be able to mess with him.
He's extremely low iq lmao. With his two dead brain cells remaining, he wouldn't comprehend whatever you'll say properly.

Even though he didn't win MVP that year you might as well include 2011 LeBron who averaged only 17 in the Finals. He won the MVPs the two seasons before 2011 and the two seasons after.
