I can't imagine what kind of person would make this post. I feel for your loved ones that have to put up with you.

Wow you’re certainly an annoying weirdo
There have been plenty of Tatum and Jimmy Butler comps.

Why you picking on Tom? He was picked 6th. Shaq and Zo obviously went 1&2 but other than them only Spree picked 24th had a better career. Tracy Murray was nice and Doug Christie had 5 great years with the Kings as a Kobe stopper but Tom was clearly the best player after pick #2 except for Spree

In more important cooper Flagg news. Kidd said he’s going to let Cooper run the team similar to how he did with Giannis. And that he expects mistakes and him being uncomfortable. But he has confidence in his skillset he will figure it out. This will help Cooper big time as a “point forward”. And having guys like Kyrie, Klay who can play off the ball should be fun. Cooper is really in a lucky ass situation as a top pick. Couldn’t ask for a better situation.

Agreed about the interesting/opportunistic situation.
Disagree with Kidd, I think it’s gonna be a disaster.
With every team playing deep drop coverage. Going under screens, even staying behind screens on some cat and mouse sh!t.
I call their bluff, an 18yo 6’8.5” forward with no experience, playmaking either over his own shoulder on bully ball backdowns like Magic & Larry used to… or Flagg as the ball handler in PNR … gonna be very high turnovers (Flagg can pick up a few highlight reel chase down blocks on his own turnovers lol) and low 3FG%
We might see Dallas opponents play some interesting, compact zone defenses most teams have never dreamed of playing outside of specific NCAA matchups where one team can’t shoot.

You got so- called poster fonzworth over and here remember him?
Then you got Shawshank C and C gay factory taking jabs but I’ll hit em with the knockout blow! It’s sad what these soft internet little boys have become. Walk out your door. Jump off the porch. Make some money. Get a bloody nose. Bloody a nose. Soft ass hoes this gen Z. It’s a proven fact. Flagg is part of that. Dude gonna be out the league like Adam Morrison in 4 to 7.

I agree. It’s gonna be getting thrown into the deep end and seeing if he will sink or swim. Sounds like Mavs were already realistic with their expectations when they were talking about putting him out of his comfort zone.
Tbh it’s worth a shot. He’s gonna either sink or swim and you never know till he plunges in.
Even if it is an ultimate failure he can get some experience out of it.
With a generational talent like Flagg I am on board with giving him too much responsibility and seeing how he deals with it rather than coddling him too much and restricting him to a predefined role.
Give him the keys out the gate, see where he has shortcomings, then adjust the gameplan from there.
