How much have humans really evolved?

Too many view this topic through a black and white lens when in reality it is very complex. There are several reasons the black community has higher rates of violence. One of the reasons is in fact genetics though. African Americans were bred no different than farm animals early in the slave trade, they are bigger and stronger and faster than their ancestors are over in Africa. They are "alpha males" in the sense that the right likes to think of that term. And the result is higher testosterone than other races, which leads to aggressive behavior.

Other reasons are the obvious, they started here with nothing and have much higher rates of poverty. Their slave history is a contributing factor. And then yes, we can point to black culture, gangsta rap music, glorifying the drug trade and gang violence, etc. And that part is something the black community has to fix themselves.

All of these things are facets of the issue. It isn't just one thing.



But knowing all that? Now what? Whites need to understand they have a bigger hill to climb, and blacks need to understand their culture isn't doing them any favors.

Ironically enough, white people are mostly to blame for the rise in popularity of gangsta rap music in the 90s. The influx of income from that industry was primarily from suburban white kids.

What it's impact is today though? I don't know. I suspect much less of an impact than the 90s though. Progress has probably been made there.

First off it would work in just one single generation. If we forced Shaq and Serina Williams to have 10 children, those 10 children would be bigger and stronger on average than the rest of us. Likely all 10 of them

But second, the slave trade in the US began in the early 1600s and lasted over 200 years. It was many generations.
