I have slightly less faith in Thibbs defensive genius, and Brunson’s highest usage rate of any player under 6’3” since Iverson lol

That is a pretty wild stat lol. At first glance I would say what about russel westbrook but i looked it up and I guess he’s listed at 6 4, always felt he was much closer to 6’3” but it is what it is

That being said I’m a Brunson fan. He is a throwback to tim hardaway and AI imo. He plays hard as **** and has that it factor.

Good point re. usage. I cringed the other night when the knicks went straight to Brunson ISO for the entirety of overtime. Brunson is a beast, but 29 attempts per game against the sixers was a bit much.

I agree they need to be able to switch gears more effectively. Seems like more of a thibbs thing than Brunson. And how their roster is constructed there isn’t a lot of options if you are going down the stretch. This team gives me a bit of a modern day AI sixers vibes with mostly of hard playing role players and a undersized guard who has a large offensive burden on his shoulders.
