I saw they beat up on the Reds ace this afternoon, worst outing he's had this season.
Brewers did the same thing a few series back against Philly. Jesus Lazardo first 11 starts this season he threw 67 innings and gave up 16ER. Against Milw. 3 and a 1/3 with 12ER. Their bats have come alive, especially Yelich.

Denzel Clarke made one of the goat catches. But whoever called it needs to be thrown off a bridge asap. Great job not capitalizing off that moment

BREAKING: The Brewers are calling up their top ranked pitching prospect, right-hander Jacob Misiorowski (MLB.com’s 68th overall) to the majors for his MLB debut, per Jeff Passan.

Not many people will care since Roman Anthony was called up for Boston.

Absolutely amazing play. The only reason it wouldn't actually be the goat for me is that he actually took a slightly off angle initially which is why he had to reach like that.

There is literally zero room for error off the bat and on the approach. Also to have the coordination against the wall not only to make the catch but bounce and throw back accurately to try and double the runner off? It's a little higher level overall to me.

I knew who this was before I clicked on video. I absolutely loved A.Jones!! One of my favorite baseball players of all time. A defensive stud! That was a much tougher catch for sure! Just a great play all around. Hell yea! No disagreement here.

I used to get into VERY heated arguments many years ago when people would try to act like Jim Edmonds, Torii Hunter, or Ken Griffey Jr were on his level defensively

Same. He’s the greatest defensive CF I have ever saw play the game. Permanent smirk he has included. Willie mays is an all time fav but I didn’t see him play. I know the accolades/history, what folks who saw him play say. But I saw Jones in real time. Hate the braves (Phillies fan) but loved watching Jones man.

MILWAUKEE -- — Jacob Misiorowski pitched five no-hit innings before leaving his major league debut with cramping in his right calf and quadriceps as the Milwaukee Brewers defeated the St. Louis Cardinals 6-0 on Thursday night.
Misiorowski (1-0) slipped on the front part of the mound after throwing his third pitch of the sixth. After medical staff went to check on him, he was removed in favor of Nick Mears.
The 6-foot-7 right-hander finished his dominant debut with five strikeouts and four walks while reaching a maximum velocity of 102.2 mph with his fastball.
Misiorowski threw 14 pitches at least 100 mph. Coming into the game, all Brewers starters had combined for eight pitches 100 mph or more under pitch tracking that began in 2008, according to mlb.com.

The Sox trade Devers to the Giants. What is ownership doing? I know the guy hasn't been the best in the locker room, but he can surely hit and produce.

You probably answered your own question. Reminds me of Trevor Bauer to a degree. He still thinks he's blackballed because of the sexual assault case(s) he got cleared of, but the real reason is he was a f*cking headache in the locker room. That's part of the reason he started vlogging and posting on YouTube. One was extra income and to push his brand, but the other was to show "Hey MLB, I'm a great locker room guy. Look at my stints in the Japanese and Mexican leagues."
Sometimes teams just don't want to deal with the drama if it's affecting the team.
