Once they let Bradley beal take five or six steps as everyone went crazy asking for the travel then had a ref get on Twitter and explain why it wasn’t. This entire conversation became pointless. People out here taking six step pull up jumpers. And that was years ago. Once they decided it’s more important that the ball get in the basket than anything else That was a wrap.

I would pay good money to see anybody that takes 4+ steps get Ray lewis'ed over the middle. I'm just a simple white boy and I'm down to lean in no pads for some CTE. I'll exchange brain damage just to hit one of these mother****ers.

Full Court is a drooling braindead mongoloid who got dropped on his head many times
Lots of stars have their own gimmicks nowadays. Whether it'd be giannis, sga, harden or anyone else.

The problem is the "gather" rule is not explicit. It's an interpretation of other rules' definition of what a dribble and holding the ball is. Theoretically, if the ball is spinning and your hand is not UNDER it, you CAN run the entire length of the floor without "dribbling", since the ball is in motion. That is not an EXPLICIT rule, but it is how it is being officiated based on the interpretation of other rules.
If you're going to allow ridiculous "gather" steps like this, at least implement a balking rule, to limit the deception of what players can do before holding the ball.
