Exclamation LaMelo "open" to a trade

Unbelievable. The minute the team drafts a guy (Kon) that's potentially better than him & eating into his usage, he wants out.

These guys just want to be The Star, get paid like it, and never worry about winning or doing less for the good of the collective.

Lamelo shoots UNDER league average from 3.
Ok, no big deal, right ?
    Many other volume scorers have.

LeMelo also shoots WAY UNDER league average from 2.
    Do the math.
How can you ever win against good teams, IN A SERIES,
When your highest usage guy, your 1st option, for years,
Is under leave AVERAGE from everywhere ?
    Simply can never add up.

Glad some chubby kid from Wisconsin is the one to unseat this glorified media darling b!tch.
Makes it more insulting for that scamwagon of a family.

Someone who keeps up with such things post his plus minus numbers. I read a comment somewhere saying they were surprisingly good for such a knucklehead, but I don’t know what they are.

yeah he's not leading anyone anywhere, he's just an overtime product. was never a fan of that media company that posts highlights of high school prospects.

There's no doubt he's talented. In theory he could be a very effective player on a contender as like a second or third option who embraced that role and followed the game plan. But you just get the sense he'd never be interested in that. He wants to be a brand, and he's not good enough to do that for a team that's gonna win anything. Of course if he had better teammates he'd win more games. But the role he'd have to accept to actually pursue a championship, just doesnt seem like it would interest him.

His +/- per 100 possessions this year is +3.2. That's not bad considering the Hornets have a 4-13 record and their average point differential is -4.2. People can criticize his efficiency and all that, but the Hornets are clearly better with him on the floor. That's not to say that the Hornets might not be better with a different first option, but it's not like he's got any good teammates to help him out either. Bridges is decent, but Bridges is also not very efficient.
