The San Antonio Spurs today announced that they have signed guard Dion Glover to a 10-day contract. Glover, a five-year NBA veteran, started the 2004-05 season with Ulker Istanbul in the Turkish Basketball League.

Glover was selected by the Atlanta Hawks (20th overall) in the 1999 NBA Draft after his sophomore year at Georgia Tech. The Marietta, Georgia native spent his first four NBA seasons with the Hawks (1999-2003) seeing action in 273 games. He split the 2003-04 season between Atlanta and Toronto. The 6-5 guard has averaged 8.3 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 287 career games.

Earlier today the Spurs placed guard Mike Wilks on the injured list with left knee patella tendinitis. Wilks is averaging 1.4 points and 0.5 assists in 4.7 minutes per game this season.
