Thunder guard Hamidou Diallo had arthroscopic surgery on his right elbow today and should be able to resume basketball-related activities in around four weeks.
During the 2018-19 regular season, the reserve guard played in 51 games, averaging 3.7 points and 1.9 rebounds in 10.3 minutes per game.
Diallo, who played one season of college basketball at the University of Kentucky, was drafted 45th overall by the Thunder in 2018.
The Thunder are currently down 0-2 to the Blazers in a tough first round NBA playoff battle. They had an average offense this season, but boasted one of the best defenses in the NBA, ranking fourth, behind the Bucks, Jazz and Pacers. But while both teams shot a low FG percentage in Game 1, the Blazers offense shined in Game 2. OKC needs to take a strong look at how the Blazers are defending them and dramatically step things up for Game 3.
