Magic to reportedly sign Josh Magette

The Orlando Magic will reportedly add to their point guard depth, coming to an agreement with Josh Magette on a two-way contract, according to Yahoo Sports.

Magette, listed at 6-foot-1 and 160 pounds, played 18 games for the Atlanta Hawks in the 2017-18 NBA season, averaging 2.6 points and 3.2 assists in 12.0 minutes per outing. He played college hoops at Alabama-Huntsville.

The Magic finished last season with a 42-40 record, good for 7th in the Eastern conference, and lost in the first round of the playoffs. They were a good defensive team last year but were far below average on the offensive side of the floor.
