Lakers sign Andre Ingram to 10-day contractAndre Ingram and his three-point shot are back on the Lakers. The team today signed the shooting guard to a 10-day contract.

Ingram is a G League three-point shooting legend, and in 11 seasons in that league has shot 45.1% from outside the arc, averaging 10.0 points per outing.

Ingram played for the South Bay Lakers this season, and in 35 games averaged 8.6 points per outing, mostly as a reserve.

Making his NBA debut late last season, Ingram played in the Lakers' final two games of 2017-18, and continued his tradition of making it rain, putting up 12.0 points per game, on good shooting percentages.

The Lakers are just 30-36 this season, and unless something incredible happens will fail to qualify for the 2019 NBA playoffs. They're on a five-game losing streak through Sunday's games, with major injuries, and reports that LeBron James will play limited minutes for the remainder of the season.
