Mitch Creek gets second 10-day contract from NetsThe Brooklyn Nets have extended Mitch Creek's time with the team, signing the forward to a second 10-day contract today.

Creek's first 10-day contract with the Nets was signed on January 25.

In three Nets games, the 6-foot-6, 225-pound Australian native has averaged 2.3 points and 1.7 rebounds in 6.8 minutes per outing.

Creek had been playing for the Nets' NBA G League affiliate, the Long Island Nets. In 26 games (21 starts) with Long Island, Creek averaged 14.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.0 steals in 30.6 minutes per contest while shooting 54.2 percent (142-of-262) from the field.

Before the above, Creek spent eight seasons playing overseas for Adelaide of the Australian National Basketball League (2010-18) and BG Gottingen of the German Basketball League (2018).

There are currently 17 players on the Nets roster.
