Olympic Exhibition Games: These are the countries competing in basketball in the 2004 Olympics in Athens, Greece. They are separated into Groups A and B for the Olympics. In July and August these teams played exhibition games. Below is listed how each team qualified for the Olympics in basketball, followed by the results of their exhibition games (which don't count for anything). Key: "l." stands for "lost to" and "def." stands for "defeated." Example: For Argentina, on Aug 7 Argentina lost to Spain. On Aug 6, Argentila defeated Lithuania.
